Smalls Creek Bridge

This bridge was installed for the Hills Shire Council, in relation with Landmark Products. In the case of extreme downpours, the existing bridge would be affected by the rising creek, and therefore could not be used.

Escaping demolished the existing bridge and re shaped the surrounding landscape to allow for the pedestrian crossing to be redesigned. Along with Landmark products, we installed this brand new bridge at a higher level to avoid the rising creek, allowing the bridge to be used at all times. We poured new pathways, and introduced new Australian rock and native planting to the area.

This project had to be undertaken in correlation to all environmental acts, and we had to ensure that the natural habitat of the area was not disturbed. Planting of native grasses and trees was undertaken to form part of a re-generation program for the community and surrounding suburbs.
