Kelso School Bus Stop Upgrade

Escaping Pty Ltd travelled to regional NSW to complete a job for the Bathurst Regional council and the Kelso High School.

The job involved upgrading the Kelso High School bus stop, to a new, much safer alternative for the school students. The existing bus stop was demolished, and the existing old pathways were ripped up and disposed of.

After excavating the area and removing a large volume of topsoil, we were able to practically double the size of the new bus stop, creating a much safer area for the kids. A block retaining wall was constructed along the fence line and a brand new massive concrete pathway was poured, maximising the area of the bus stop.

The final stage of the job involved installation of an RMS type 1 fencing, preventing the students from entering the road when the buses are approaching. The Job had a very tight deadline, and was completed in time for the students to return to school.
